Sorry I am five days late with this -_-
I thought this would be a fun thing to post, I hope that everyone will have fun with it (:
SKETCHAVEMBER November 1st - 30th, or; November A-Sketch-A-Day. November is famous for National Novel Writing Month and several other artistic endeavours in the name of creativity that continue to inspire! However, not all of us are prolific writers; comic book makers, or can keep the promise of some of the steeper challenges this month has to offer.
Sketchavember is a modest and personal yet limitless celebration of creativity that continues throughout the entire month of November. Commit to engage your creativity on a daily basis! Commit to create something each day-no matter how small or amateurish; open yourself to produce anything. Additionally, celebrate yours as well as others' creativity by sharing a little something of your own making each day!
It may be a stick-figure joke scribbled on a napkin, warm-up doodles in order to get the will to draw at all, or an eight-hour painted professional illustration. It's your best work and your worst. Make it small scale or large scale. Don't let 'talent' or medium hold you back -draw, paint, write, design, compose; anything goes. Bring out your sketchbooks during dark and dreary November and join in on celebrating how IT IS GREAT TO CREATE!
This project is something I pulled out of my back pocket while fighting the blues two years ago. To my surprise I found it both inspirational and a great exercise! Enough so to make it a tradition. And of course: the more the merrier! Art is like a smile: it's meant to be contagious ♥
